Activities will be an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators will bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which will be reflected in the activities they organise.

Meeting the local PCSO

Our General Manager Sam and Home Services Advisor Jack, had the pleasure of showing PCSO Shane Barnes from Waterlooville Police around Hazleton Gardens today.

They had an exciting conversation around how we can support the local community that surrounds our wonderful home.

National Foodbank Day

Our General manager Sam and our Home Services Advisor Jack went along to see the team at Waterlooville Food Bank to find out more about the amazing work they do in our local area.

The food bank do incredible things all year round to support the community and we wanted to take the opportunity today to shout about them as much as we can!

We are really looking forward to supporting them.

Team Site Visit

The team at Hazleton Gardens got to take a tour of their brand new, luxury home!

Hazleton Gardens is getting closer to opening it's doors to visitors on the 5th & 6th of September, so the team had a chance to come and see their home before anyone else.

Excited is an understatement, everyone is so keen to get to meet our neighbours, spend time with those looking for care and of course meeting our first potential residents.

We look forward to welcoming people in soon!

5 Star Dining Experience

Here at Hazleton Gardens we are proud to say we will be offering a 5 Star dining experience delivered to our residents by our head chef Stuart.

We will be offering a choice of seasonal menus every day, with dishes freshly prepared by our talented kitchen team. Whether it’s traditional, vegan, vegetarian or modified, our residents’ preferences help decide what’s on the menu.

Hazleton Gardens Care Home is one of only a few special homes within Barchester Healthcare to have underfloor heating!?

This comes with some fantastic benefits for our residents, a few of these are:

More bedroom space for our residents so they can bring more of their own furniture should they wish.
Improved air quality, which is particularly beneficial for those who suffer with allergies.
Even heat distribution and zone controlled, keeping our residents lovely and warm in the colder months (should they choose to be).

Here at Hazleton Gardens Care Home we have installed 95 solar panels to support with our commitment to the environment.

Having solar panels on our buildings, along side other important steps we are taking, helps us to reduce our carbon footprint. This is very important to us as a home and as a company as we strive to improve our environmental impact day by day!

We want to introduce you to our General Manager, Samantha!

With over 20 years in the care industry, Samantha will bring something very special to our wonderful new home and she is incredibly excited to meet our residents, their loved ones and the people in our local community!

At Hazleton Gardens we are proud to say our outside space is wonderful.

Our residents will be able to enjoy fully secure gardens that wrap around the home consisting of multiple outside seating areas, raised planters, a potting shed, a variety of balconies to use and much more.

Rain or shine, our residents will always be able to enjoy their garden!

We are excited to be holding a Meet the Team event at St Wilfrid's Church in Cowplian on Thursday 6th August.

This will be a great chance to ask us about job opportunities, discuss the build of the home or let us know if you are a business that wants to work with us!
