Activities will be an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators will bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which will be reflected in the activities they organise.

Community Events

Last night our General Manager Aga and Deputy Manager Monica attended a wonderful professionals networking event run by CotswoldNetworking at The Ivy Bath!

They got to meet so many fantastic local businesses and we are really excited to build on those relationships and work with our new connections in the future.

Menu Taster Event

This week we hosted a special taster event at Darcy Gardens so people could sample some of the delicious food we will be serving our residents.

We invited people from some local charities to join us as we wanted to not only get to know them more and hear about the wonderful work they do but also to say thank you for all they done in their communities this year!

Recently, members of the Darcy Gardens team came together in our shiny new marketing suite for the very first time!

The start of an extremely exciting future happened when we all came together and we truly can't wait to share this with you and the community of Bath!

Once completed, Darcy Gardens will offer tranquil beautiful environment where our residents can thrive, experiencing a high quality of life in a supportive and compassionate environment.

Progress Visit

We have had an exciting visit to Darcy Gardens to check out the progress of our home!

Site managers Rob and James have been brilliant, there is still a lot of work to do but they will get the job done. (once we stop asking them to pose for photos!)

We are very close to getting our marketing suite and we are very excited to share it with you all.

Our Marketing Suite Open Weekend is the 29th and 30th November so we will be able to give people a sneak peak tour of what our home will offer!

Beat The Blues

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Beat The Blues event! We welcomed people to the home for some uplifting Blue's music a chance to mingle and get over those January blues!

It was lovely to welcome people in to the home and we look forward to seeing you again!

Cheese and Wine Evening

We were delighted to welcome some of our wonderful neighbours to the home for a cheese & wine evening to thank them for their patience during our build process of the home.

It was great to meet everyone, show them our marketing suite and get to know our local community a bit better!

If you couldn't make it please don't worry we will be hosting another evening closer to the home opening where we will be able to showcase the whole home to you!

A little thanks goes a long way!

We thought some delicious shortbread would be the perfect gift for the fabulous building team at the home.

With the weather as cold as it is and predictions of snow on the way, we wanted to add something special to their all important hot drink breaks throughout the day!

It is important to us that we look after the teams that have built our wonderful home bit by bit, particularly when it is as chilly as this!

Exciting Site Visit at Darcy Gardens

Recently, our General Manager Aga, Regional Director Isabela and Divisional Sales and Marketing Manager Kirsten paid a visit to Darcy Gardens.

It was fantastic to see the progress of the build and see how far everything has come along. We are extremely excited for our marketing suite to open in November so we can start showcasing our beautiful home.

Meeting our community

Our team have been out in our local community getting to know businesses, charities, community groups, NHS professionals and many more! We love to build strong working relationships and it is important to us that we create a strong community bond.

Thank you to everyone that has welcomed us to Bath so far and we look forward to meeting those we haven't yet seen!

Our Marketing Suite is Open!

We are delighted to announce that our marketing suite here at Darcy Gardens Care Home is officially OPEN!

Councillor Ian Halsall, Deputy Mayor of The City of Bath and our local ward Councillor joined us to officially open the suite, cutting our Red ribbon and raising a glass with the team here at the home.

Open Weekend

We are delighted to announce that in just TWO weeks from today we will be opening the doors to our marketing suite for our first ever Open Weekend at Darcy Gardens.

On the 29th and 30th of November we will be giving tours of our marketing suite to give you a sneak peek at what we will be offering here at Darcy Gardens!
