Lovely home and really impressed with how welcoming the reception team were. I was visiting an old friend and impressed with the facilities and activities for the people staying.

We can’t thank the staff at this care home enough for the kindness, dignity and respect shown throughout our loved one’s time here. Every member of the team was caring and professional, and it really showed in the quality of care provided.

A special mention to Bogdan, who went above and beyond — always approachable, compassionate and reassuring, and nothing was ever too much trouble. It made a difficult time much easier knowing our loved one was in such capable and caring hands.

We are extremely grateful to everyone involved and would highly recommend this care home to others.

Upton Bay is a spacious and beautiful care home! The facilities are superior and the residents are so well thought of and looked after. The food is so thoughtfully prepared and attention to the smaller detail is apparent.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to families looking for a residence for their loved one, or to anyone looking for a venue to hold their meeting functions.

West abbey is the most welcoming home I have been in to visit a relative. From the reception to management and all the team they showed care, compassion and kindness to all our family. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

I perform here as a guest musician. I am always made most welcome by the staff, and it is obvious that the residents are well looked after and cared for.

We are very impressed with the car given to Mum, who has been resident there for almost three years. The staff are caring and caring ensuring Mum has respect and any symptoms are managed quickly and well. We are always made feel welcome when we visit and updated immediately in person or by phone call if any aspect of care changes. Thank you to all staff…I cannot pick out one above another, but the excellent leadership is obvious in the way staff work and communicate.

Very kind and compassionate care facility. The management and clinical teams work together very well. I have met the team at Marconi residence and they are excellent. Joan and Louise and the front line care team have provided such great care to our family member. Very professional and very caring.

My dad has been at Bluebell Park for nine months. I couldn’t ask for better care from all the staff there; admin, carers, catering, cleaning, maintenance and management all put residents first. They support individual needs and work to the ethos that this is the residents home that staff work in. Dad is living his best life with their support.

As a regular visitor to the home, I'm always impressed, both by the home itself, which is lovely, and the staff, who provide a friendly, homely atmosphere, as well as the care with which they attend to their residents.

The first impression when you walk into Florence Court Care Home it’s like a five star hotel. All the care staff welcomed when you entered the care home.

I am writing this review to tell a biggest thank you to fairview house care home and my practice supervisor Sumaira. I completed my first placement in 3rd year which was in Surgical ward this week. I was really stunned by my development in my confidence when I started my placement there. I was able to effortlessly attend calls and interact with MDT professionals. I was genuinely shocked about how much I improved after my care home placement with my supervisor, Sumaira. Once again thank you so much for all your support during my placement and I can say you are one of my best supervisor I have ever got.

My Mum recently moved into Mount Tryon and we are so pleased she did. The home is wonderful. Every member of staff is helpful and kind. The management have been so helpful and the activities are so well ran. What was a worrying and stressful decision was made so much easier with support and kindness. Thank you to all at Mount Tryon. Thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for care.

I attended Mallard Court to deliver a drama and dance workshop with my company, Red Kite, to a small group of residents, and I was immediately impressed. It's a warm, cosy, welcoming setting filled with cheerful staff who are only to happy to help with anything you need - Stephen, the activities coordinator, in particular, was super friendly and really knew the residents and their individual support needs well. The residents themselves were cared for, engaged, happy, and the staff seemed to know them really well. And the kettle was always on! If I were looking for a care home setting or a relative Mallard Court would be high on the list.

Sherwood Lodge is an exceptional care home, and our family will always be deeply grateful that Mum spent the final months of her life there.

From the moment she arrived, she was welcomed into a genuinely warm, loving community. The standards of care are outstanding, but what truly sets Sherwood Lodge apart is the humanity. Residents are treated as people first – their lives, personalities and dignity are respected, and every effort is made to make daily life feel as normal, meaningful and comfortable as possible.

The carers are superb: kind, attentive, patient and deeply committed. Nothing ever felt rushed or transactional. But it was in Mum’s final days that the care went far beyond anything we could have hoped for. The compassion, tenderness and constant attention shown to Mum – and to us as a family – was extraordinary. Nothing was too much trouble. We were gently supported, completely cocooned, and given the space, calm and reassurance we needed to be fully present with her.

Those last days were peaceful, loving and dignified because of the people at Sherwood Lodge. That is an immeasurable gift.

I cannot recommend Sherwood Lodge highly enough. They do not just provide care – they provide kindness, respect and genuine love when it matters most.
