Oak Grange will provide first class 24-hour Residential and Nursing Care in a warm, homely and friendly environment. Our team of qualified and dedicated staff will focus on the individual needs of residents. Dementia Care
Oak Grange Care Home will feature a Memory Lane Community to provide high-quality nursing care for people with dementia. Within our community, memory boxes with small reminders and items such as photographs are used to great effect to help each person reminisce. Features such as adapted crockery and tableware, sensory gardens with low risk walkways and activity kitchens are there to enable people to engage in life's everyday simple tasks and pleasures. Essential to our homely feel is the enhanced relationship of trust built with family, friends and residents.
Visiting Us
Visiting us is essential in helping people visualise the experience of living with us at Oak Grange. The Information Suite is now open and welcomes visitors to drop in for coffee, a chat and further information. Joanne Balmer - General Manager
Joanne is a Registered Nurse with over 10 years experience. She has worked in both the private and public sectors in a variety of clinical & managerial roles. Her role is to manage all daily operations within the home and ensure that residents experience exceptional service and person-centred care. The well-being and care of residents is Joanne's top priority and she is happy to discuss any matters with families & residents at any time.
Gillian Jones – Home Services Advisor
Gill's role is to support and advise people who are thinking about a care home for themselves or a loved one. She will provide information about the types of care available and signpost people to other sources of support.
Madaliene Higginson – Finance Administrator
Maddy's role is to support the General Manager by maintaining the administration and financial systems within the home in accordance with company standards and in compliance with all regulatory and statutory obligations. She will support Joanne in setting up the new administration systems within the Care Home, build relationships with prospective residents, relatives & local professionals, and support the smooth overall running of the home.
