GENERAL MANAGER GAINS TOP DEMENTIA AWARD
Val Gains, General Manager at Threshfield Court, was awarded 'Best Dementia Care Home Manager' at the National Dementia Care Awards 2011. These awards celebrate the very best in dementia care. Professor Mary Marshall of Sterling University presented Val with her trophy together with the hosts of the awards, TV presenters Dick and Dom. Val said: "It has been my dream to create a home where individuals live and work alongside each other valuing the best in each other in a homely environment that supports and nurtures."

Dignity in action
Threshfield Court Community Care, which is part of Threshfield Court and provides domiciliary care across the Craven District, was proud to demonstrate its support recently for Dignity Action Day by holding a fun-filled community event. Threshfield's community care team celebrated and raised awareness of the importance of delivering dignified care by inviting clients old and new, their relatives and friends to join them for an extra special social afternoon.

Elizabeth Bedford - Clinical Nurse Manager
Liz has responsibility for all training within the Home and oversees the planning, directing, and monitoring of the delivery of care.
Sandra Dixon - Administrator
Sandra maintains the administration and financial activities of the Home.
Jason Smith - Head Chef
Jason is responsible for managing the catering team, ensuring they provide a high quality catering service to all our residents, guests and visitors.
Helen Hepworth - Activity Co-ordinator
Helen is responsible for providing a varied and appropriate programme of activity, based around the needs, wishes and desires of our residents.
Pauline Stewart - Housekeeper
Pauline manages her team ensuring the Home is clean, tidy, presentable and smelling fresh for the comfort of residents, guests and visitors.
