Our dementia team leader has successfully won the Memory Lane Champion Award at national care provider Barchester Healthcare's Care Awards 2011. Fiona Gavigan, who works at the home in East Riding, was selected from more than 600 entries from all over the UK. She was presented with a trophy at a glitzy awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza in Birmingham. The annual Barchester Care Awards celebrate the amazing standards of care Barchester Healthcare staff provide to their residents in homes across the UK. The awards recognise those employees who have made a special difference to residents.

The manager has overall responsibility for all aspects of the home.
Jackie Stonehouse RGN - Deputy Manager
Jackie has been an integral part of the team here for over 20 years. Her main responsibility is to assist Sue in ensuring that Barchester's exceptionally high standards of person-centred care is received by all of our residents.
Maureen Tesseyman - Unit Manager, Memory Lane
Maureen manages our Memory Lane Community, which is dedicated to providing expert care for people experiencing a dementia and offering professional support for their families.
Angela Hopkins - Unit Manager, Older People's Services
Mrs Angela Hopkins is a Registered Nurse who is bringing to the team a wealth of experience having worked within the NHS and Independent Sector, before joining Barchester Healthcare Ltd in June 2011 Angela is responsible for the day to day running of the unit.
Ena Hope & Louise Potter - The Activities Team
Ena & Louise are always busy organising events, entertainment and excursions for our residents with the broadest possible appeal. We offer an environment that is both stimulating and socially active.
Dawn Scholefield - Head Chef
Dawn qualified over 17 years ago and leads an experienced catering team to provide a wonderful choice of delicious and wholesome dishes. She spends time planning the menus with our residents finding out about their favourite foods.
Lorraine Blissett & Lynette Mackley - Administration Team
The Administration Team are here to welcome you into the home and are always happy to offer assistance and support. They make a great cup of coffee!
David Peek - Maintenance Manager
