1,000 Mile Mission Impossible Success
On Thursday the 12th May 2011, 1,000 miles were covered in less than five hours by more than 100 people on a fundraising walk, run and cycle around Bewl Water Reservoir, to raise money for the Barchester Healthcare Foundation. The event got underway after a Zumba warm up injected a fun Latin carnival atmosphere and proved to be a big hit with participants. Samantha Neal, a Home Service Advisor at Barchester, led the group with their exercises as she is also a qualified fitness instructor.
Four-legged visitor!
This is Gypsy Rose! She belongs to our General Manager, Lynn Silver. She is a rough collie who visits the residents at Bushey on a regular basis, and makes herself quite at home.
Bushey House residents trip to local Casino
Residents from Bushey House Beaumont Care Community travelled by mini bus for an afternoon of gaming in G Casino Luton. The Residents were met by extremely helpful and friendly staff who were on hand to explain the rules of roulette, back jack and poke rand of course the slot machines As it was in the afternoon the casino was fairly empty and so the Residents had time to contemplate their strategy.

Maureen Harris - Housekeeper
Maureen is our Housekeeper and has been with the company for over 10 years. She is responsible for laundry, domestic duties and setting up the show rooms.
Antoinette Berne - Senior Carer
Antoinette is a Senior Carer in charge of Assisted Living, and is a great asset to the company.
Avni Fejzullau - Head Chef
Avni is our Head Chef, who won the Barchester Chefs Competition in 2008, and is an absolutely superb cook.
Bernard Olagasegaram - Maintenance Site Manager
Bernard is our Maintenance Site Manager, without whom, nothing would work.
