The Village consists of the established Lakeside Care Home, our stunning new Lakeside Manor Care Home, the premier Lakeside Pavilion apartments, and the famous Mermaid, which will be fully refurbished in early 2012 to create the social hub for the village.

Time Capsule
We set a competition for 75 children from Bel Royal School to come up with ideas for a items to be placed in a time capsule, we choose 6 winners that came up with some great ideas: 1 Jersey £1.00 note 2 Postcard of The Royal Square 3 What's on in Jersey Feb Issue (Booklet) 4 Jersey Postage Stamp 5 A photograph of Lakeside Village under construction 6 Front page of the local Jersey evening post The children each received a £10.00 Gift Card and the School received £100.00 book vouchers. Although it was a bitterly cold day the children were extremely pleasant and obliging.
