Situated by the lakes on the north-east side of Peterborough and just 10 minutes from the city centre, Werrington Lodge has plenty of local amenities nearby. It is a purpose-built home providing 24-hour nursing care to older people, including people living with dementia, who are cared for in a dedicated Memory Lane  community.

The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator for the care sector in England. During their most recent visit to Werrington  Lodge they noted (copyright CQC, recording a visit in December 2013) that: ‘People’s care plans were person-centred and contained detailed information that would allow any member of staff care for that person in a way the person liked,’ and that during meals ‘People were supported in a warm and respectful manner.’ They recorded residents saying that: ‘The care here is amazing,’ that ‘The staff always treat me with dignity and respect,’ and that ’I feel really safe living here. If I call for assistance the staff come straight away.’

Here at Werrington Lodge we are always keen to see visitors, so please feel free to come to see us or to give us a call at any time.
