North Park is a modern, purpose-built home with scenic park views and safe, secluded gardens. In a quiet setting it nonetheless has access to plenty of local amenities, not far from Darlington and the A1. It offers care and support to frail older people, people living with disabilities or sensory loss and people living with dementia.

North Park is dedicated to ensuring dignity, independence and choice for the people it supports irrespective of physical or mental health. We want to offer people the best possible quality of life in terms of medical support, physical surrounding, meaningful activities and hospitality, too.

People living with dementia are supported in our dedicated Memory Lane Community, which has been specially adapted to their needs by the use of careful design and use of colours. It includes reminiscence aids, memory boxes and a life skills kitchen to help people fill their days. We base our care on careful assessment and regular review of our approach involving the individual and their family.

The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator for the care sector in England. After their most recent inspection visit they noted (CQC's copyright, reporting a visit in October 2013) : ‘We witnessed two care staff providing very gentle and sensitive support for someone who was at the end of life.' Residents told them: I’ve been treated very well here,’ and ‘I like it here. I know I’m safe.’

We would love to show you what we have to offer – we welcome visitors and calls.
