Meet the North Park Care Home Team

Hi, my name is Devon Taylor. I have worked in the healthcare sector for over 16 years and have a wealth of knowledge and experience. I started at North Park 2019 as a care assistant and I have worked my way up to Senior Carer and now Deputy Manager.

The quality of care that all my residents receive is my passion and I aim to ensure that my residents continue to live an independent and enriched life.  I look forward to building strong relationships with you all.

Hi, my name is Carol and I am the Administrator here at North Park.    I joined Barchester in June 2020.  In my role I deal with all aspects of the administration of the home to ensure it runs smoothly, from invoicing, ordering, recruitment, setting up contracts, to manning the telephones, there's never a dull day!

I am here to offer you a warm welcome and happy to assist you with any enquiries that you may have. I love working at North Park.

Hi, my name is Claire, and I am Lead Activities Coordinator at North Park. I have 15 years’ experience in the role, three years at North Park and absolutely love my job. I like to involve the local community in events within the home, so we have connections with local churches, schools and community groups. We have a PAT dog that visits weekly, so our residents can enjoy pet therapy, and lots of external entertainers, who come into the home regularly as well; in addition to fairs, monthly coffee morning and so much more.

Hi, My name is Steve, I am Head of Maintenance here at North Park. I joined Barchester in December 2020 and my work background primarily consists of food manufacturing and looking after health and safety contractors. 

I really enjoy ensuring North Park is kept safe and well presented at all times. I love getting to know all the residents whilst working alongside the friendly staff. I am always here for whatever our residents need. 

Hi, my name is Jo Jy Joseph, I am the Head Housekeeper at North Park Care Centre. I started working for Barchester, at North Park,  3 years ago as a domestic Assistant. I enjoy mixing with our residents, getting to know them,  having daily chats and making sure they are as comfortable and happy  as I possibly can.

Hi, my name is Juliette and I am Lead Senior Carer. I have been working for Barchester for 18 years, 16 years at North Park Care Centre.

I started as a Senior Carer before becoming Lead Senior last year in 2022.  I am passionate about my job, I enjoy caring for our lovely residents and getting involved in all aspects of life in our home.

My name is Delia Taylor, I have been a care assistant at North Park for one year. Previously, I worked as a community carer in the Darlington area. Originally from the Philippines, I have worked in Taiwan and Abu Dhabi but I am now permanently settled in the UK.

I have experienced other jobs and differing roles, but I mostly enjoy my time in care work particularly the interactions and friendships I have with my residents and colleagues. Every day you're helping someone in need and making their lives that little bit easier, it is fulfilling and most rewarding

Hi I'm Sarah Roberts, I've worked at North Park for nearly 2 years and enjoy every last minute of being a Healthcare Assistant. I really enjoy meeting new residents and getting to know them, chatting to our residents throughout the day and finding out about the interesting lives they have led so far, they just make your job that bit more worthwhile.

Hi my name is Yukiko I have been working as a care assistant since January. I enjoy working with my team and I'm happy to see my residents smile every day, this gives me energy to work. I do my best every day and want to give all the residents a comfortable home here at North Park.

Hi my name is Marie Noble and I have been a care assistant at North Park for five months.

I love knowing I’m making a difference in other people’s lives, weather it is our residents or their families. I love chatting to our residents and see them smiling. Caring for other people and working for Barchester with the team at North Park makes me feel valued.

Hello my name is Laura, I have worked as a care assistant at North Park Care Centre for just over a year, however I have over 20 experience in the care industry. I enjoy my work especially interacting with the residents.

Hi my name is Joanne Simpson and I started at North Park in 2020 as a care assistant. This is my first time working in the care industry and I have never looked back. My residents are like family to me and I love to put a smile on their faces. When you visit you will always see me singing and dancing with my residents, which they love.

Hello, my name is Andrew. I have worked at North Park for over 5 years but have been in the care industry for around 16 years. I mainly work as a domestic here at North Park but also work as a carer within the home as well as being able to drive the home bus when needed.

I absolutely love working at North Park. I have great rapport with our clients, colleagues and management.
