We are located in a quiet area of the bustling market city of Truro. Purpose-built in award-winning gardens, Kenwyn Care Home offers a warm and friendly environment, which provides 24-hour nursing care to frail older people, people with disabilities and people living with dementia, who are supported in our dedicated Memory Lane Community. Our large bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are supplemented by a variety of communal sitting areas. Our levels of care, service and attention to detail are the perfect complement to our fine surroundings.

The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator for the care sector in England. During their inspector’s most recent visit they noted (CQC's copyright, reporting on a visit in October 2013): ‘…staff… meet the needs of the people that live in Kenwyn in a calm and relaxed manner,' that ‘…care… was provided discreetly and in a manner which respected people’s dignity’ and that ‘Staff spoke with  people who lived in the home in a respectful manner.’

We base our approach to care and support on personalised care plans, which are written with the individual concerned where possible and with the help of relatives and friends. It means that we can tailor the group and one-to-one activities we offer to the needs and wants of the individual concerned.

In addition to our own nursing team we have good links with local health services, so that residents have access to a range of therapies if they are needed.

We welcome visitors and would be delighted to show you around the home, or to offer advice over the phone if we can help.
