Our lovely garden
Our delightful resident-friendly garden has raised beds and a green house that enables our residents to share their gardening knowledge and expertise.
Sunday-Sundae
Our Activities Co-ordinator arranged an activity called Sunday-Sundae on the 16th January. Residents were able to taste ice cream and a variety of toppings, which was a great success and enjoyed by all.
Wendy Gibbs - General Manager
Wendy is the General Manager at Corinna Lodge. Her role is to manage all daily operations within the home and ensure that residents experience exceptional service and person-centred care.
Sharon Rickman - Head of Activities
Sharon has NVQ level 3 in Activities. She also has certificates in Reminiscing Therapy, Chair Based Exercise for older Persons, and Therapeutic Massage. She has worked at Corrina for 12 years, first as a Carer, and now as Head of Activities.
Mick Breckon - Head Chef
Mick has 20 years experience in Catering and trained as a Chef in the army where he gained city and guilds 706 1, 2, & 3. Mick has been at Corrina for 9 years and has recently completed the Barchester Master Chef Diploma
Janette Martin - Head Housekeeper
Jeanette has been at Corrina for over 10 years as Housekeeper and has recently completed her NVQ in Hotel Services. Jeanette heads the Domestic and Laundry Team.
Pauline Pat & Linda - Administration and Reception
Pauline, Administrator and Pat and Linda, receptionists are always available to offer assistance and support.
Sheila Poulton - Matron
Sheila has 30+ years experience as a Registered General Nurse and has been working at Corrina Lodge for over 10 years. She is a qualified Moving & Handling and First Aid Trainer and is an NVQ Assessor. Sheila oversees the direct care of all our residents.
