Activities at Cheverton Lodge Care Home

Our Activities Coordinators are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians, as well as art therapy, flower arranging, Exercise to music and quizzes. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as they can, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.

Valentines celebrations.

Cheverton lodge was feeling the love on Valentines Day.

What a delightful day we had yesterday. Rooms were filled with fresh flowers, cards, balloons and decorations as residents, friends and family celebrated the day of love in style.

Residents were joined by their loved ones for a delicious home cooked Valentine's lunch prepared by our talented chefs. There was wine and music and a wonderful afternoon was had by all.

Shrove Tuesday at Cheverton Lodge.

It's pancake day!

What a great shrove Tuesday we had at Cheverton Lodge. We started the day with pancake related games including a word search. Our chef made a lovely selection of pancakes for everyone to enjoy with lots of different toppings. Fruits and lemon and sugar was the favorite choices.

What do you like on your pancakes?
