Activities at Challoner House Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Challoner House Care Home
Victoria Country Park/Hamble Seafront
Today our residents had a lovely time as we took the mini bus out to the lovely Victoria country park in the morning and down to Hamble seafront in the afternoon also the residents got to have a nice tea or coffee in the sunshine or even a Mr Whippy ice-cream everyone said they had such a great time and look forward to see where they will go next.
Beer Tasting
In honour of National Beer Day, the residents at Challoner enjoyed a Beer Tasting Afternoon with lots of different flavoured Beers and Non Alcoholic Beer too!
Cheese Tasting
We celebrated National Cheese Day at Challoner with a Cheese Tasting Afternoon, joined by a glass of Wine! The Cheese of the Day was Mature Cheddar, with Red Leicester not far behind!
Residents Summer Party
The Ladies & Gentlemen at Challoner enjoyed an afternoon of music and laughter with a visit from Wally & Phil! We really love having the Laredo Duo entertain us!
Fun In The Sun
We have been enjoying the lovely sunshine at Challoner House. Our Activities Team was on hand to organise a variety of outdoor sessions and interactive games to make the most of the summer sun.
Ice Cream Day
To celebrate National Ice Cream Day, the ladies & gentlemen at Challoner enjoyed a lovely ice cream treat in the summer sun, with plenty of flavours to select from, we were spoilt for choice!
