Activities at Brook House Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Life at Brook House Care Home

International Beer Day

Residents basked in the sunshine and quenched their thirst with delicious beers.

Carers Day

Carers Day is a tribute to the carers who gave all the effort they could muster during the pandemic and beyond. 'Thank you' could never be enough. The dedication, determination and empathy is much-appreciated by us all.

May the Force be with You

Residents  got dressed in Star War costumes. We played some seventies and eighties music, to which a residents danced and swayed to the rhythm. There was lots to eat and drink, supplied by our marvellous chefs.

International Nurses' Day

International Nurses' Day was celebrated with much jubilation, as our nurses gave their utmost to get through the year. They do deserve all the praise and appreciation we can bestow on them. The gratitude is immeasurable and the love for our nurses is infinitely there for them.

Easter Party

Easter was a great party time playing games and having an Easter egg hunt. A beautiful cake was provided by our chef, as well as a spread, which was finger licking good. We played some feet tapping music, which got all the residents in a good mood and set us off for spring.

Green Fingers at Play

Residents enjoyed a burst of sunshine and indulged in a bit of gardening and an afternoon tea in the garden. They plan to do a vegetable patch soon too.
