Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Flippin Fab Time!!!
What a fabulous pancake day we had at Ritson Lodge. Lots of seriously talented flippers!!! So much laughter and fun and sharing memories of pancake days past.
Ritson Ramblers
Here at Ritson Lodge 35 of us got out with our Ritson Ramblers. The idea was to enjoy fresh air, meet new people and tackle loneliness. Mental health is important and getting out with others definitely helps.
Valentines Celebrations
Valentine’s Day celebrating here at Ritson Lodge
So much love joy and happiness…. We even had Elvis join us singing all our favourite love songs. Residents and friends had an amazing time enjoying a glass of bubbly and a sing song.
National Chocolate Day
National Chocolate Day is celebrated at Riston Lodge with near religious zeal!
Everyone adores the amazingly delicious treats created by chef Tom and his team. From brownies to doughnuts, to fudge cakes and trifle, chef Tom always impresses.
Nothing brings the home together like chocolatey treats. Whether enjoyed whilst chatting in the cafe with friends, or quietly in a lounge, or alongside a glass of sherry in our pub, we don't mind how our residents enjoy themselves just as long as they do.
Cocktails In Our Pub
Did you know that we have our own on-site pub at Ritson Lodge?
The Ritson Arms is one of the busiest hubs in the our home. Complete with full bar, pool table, darts board and many comfy sofas, why wouldn't you want to spend time with friends here enjoying a cocktail and having fun.
Our pub, like our cinema, is just one of the ways that Ritson Lodge is not like other care homes. Visit us and see for your self.
A Princely Visit
Our residents here at Ritson Lodge just love to see Prince and Angela when they visit for our home for a Pet Therapy session. Lots of cuddles and lots of smiles - what a super day!
Animal Therapy is a cornerstone of our Life Enrichment Program and regularly features on our weekly activity calendars.
