Activities at Hagley Place Care Home

Activities plays a big part in the care we deliver to residents; activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.

Burns Night Celebrations

Nothing like a good whisky cocktail on a cold winters day to warm you up. We ate and drank like true Scottish folk with Haggis and whisky, along with some very beautiful readings of Robert Burns.  We ended the day with a themed quiz, a lovely day was had by all.

Flower Arranging Mornings

We have had the most beautiful week here, lots of fun was had! There were smiles & laughter of residents and staff alike. There were celebrations, current affairs conversations, flower arranging,  coffee morning socials plus much more to keep us busy.

Current Affairs & News

There has been much to discuss in the last couple of weeks press stories. Sometimes it is enjoyable to forget political dramas and pandemic updates and focus on heart-warming good news stories. We have loved reading about the Duchess of Cambridge turning 40, we looked back at photos & stories of the Duchesses life so far.

Father Christmas Came to Town

Residents and staff were delighted to get a visit from father Christmas, neighbouring care company, Sapphire Care, delivered presents and lots of joy!! Smiles all round
