Activities at Lakeside Manor Care Home

Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Jenna Stuchfield

Activities Coordinator

My name is Jenna , I am  the Activities Co-ordinator at Lakeside Manor Care Home. I have a degree in Prosthetic Make up for film, which I practiced for 3 years, followed by a degree in teacher training. After moving to Jersey 5 years ago, I worked as a Design Technology teacher for 3 years. These skill sets have fitted perfectly into my  role as Activity Co-ordinator for the last 2 years. I  really enjoy  my  role and  I perform  it with enthusiasm., my best moments are dancing and singing with the residents and seeing them smile and laugh. I  strive  to ensure the residents are happy and engaged. My  personal interests include, walking the dog, travelling and my biggest passion is art.

Battle of Britain Party

Every year in September, the island holds an air display. At this event, many people take time to remember what other generations did so that we can enjoy our freedom.

Our island was invaded and liberated but we will never forget...

Open Day at Lakeside Manor

Open Day at Lakeside Manor

We opened our doors to relatives and friends on Saturday 18th June to engage families in group activities and to enjoy a big breakfast together. We had a 'guess how many sweets are in the jar' competition, a group BBQ that brought together all three floors, and finished off the day with some musical entertainment on the terrace.
