A care team dedicated to caring for people living with dementia has won ‘Team of the Year’ at the Barchester Care Awards 2016 for outstanding care work at Highview House Care Home in Inverness.
The team run the Memory Lane Community for people living with dementia at Highview and were nominated for the way they have harnessed their care and compassion to drive significant improvements in the home.
Judges were impressed by the commitment shown by everyone on the team and how they have supported each other to ensure they are delivering great, person-centred care for all who live at Highview.
