Staff and residents at Reigate Beaumont Care Home in Reigate are thrilled to have won ‘Garden of the Year 2016’ at Barchester in Bloom.
‘Garden of the Year’ is the most prestigious category in the competition and everyone at the home is delighted to have won the national trophy.
The judges were extremely impressed by Reigate Beaumont’s garden and said: “Wherever you look the garden is awash with colour and interesting features. Clearly a lot of time and effort has gone into the creation and the landscaping of the gardens.
“Despite the size and complexity of the gardens, they have been impeccably maintained, conveying a genuine sense of pride in how they look.
“To cap it all, the seating areas (both on the patio and on the grass) are in the perfect position for residents to look out and admire the garden.”
Pramojil Kurian, General Manager at Reigate Beaumont said: “I am very proud of all those who have been involved in helping our garden grow from strength to strength, especially our gardener, Rob Spencer. It feels incredible to have the ‘Garden of the Year’ 2016 trophy!”
