Rhoda Gourlay, a resident at Drummond Grange Care Home, won ‘Foundation Champion of the Year’ for raising well over £1,000 for Barchester’s Charitable Foundation by doing a 412 mile cycle challenge this summer.
Unfortunately Rhoda wasn’t able to attend the ceremony in Manchester so a celebration was held at Drummond Grange Care Home instead.
Eleanor Wilson, General Manager at Drummond Grange said: “We are all so proud of Rhoda. Rhoda’s cycle challenge was truly inspirational and I’m thrilled that her fundraising efforts have been recognised by Barchester with the ‘Foundation Champion’ award. She is now focusing on helping others to achieve their goals and do something amazing for charity.''
