Pupils from a school in Worcestershire have been making baskets of flowers for elderly residents of a care home, according to the Worcester News.
Year eight and nine children from Droitwich Spa High School made the baskets for residents of the Westmead Residential Home.
The scheme is part of the schools' Youth Bank project, set up by sixth formers to promote care in the community.
Hannah Talbot, director of the project, told the newspaper: "We are really looking forward to taking part in a project which will see the sixth form and the lower school working together.
"The younger pupils will acquire new skills which will hopefully lead to a new interest for some."
The pupils were helped with their baskets by local florist Anna Brian before delivering the gifts personally to the delighted residents of the home.
