Next month will see members of a company joining together for a sponsored abseiling session as a popular football ground to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society, it has been reported.
Sheffield staff of MyJobGroup.co.uk, who specialise in local employment boards, will take part in the event at the city's Hillsborough Football Stadium, onrec.com has reported.
The event will take place at the home of Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday April 5th and will involve all members, including the managing director Glenn Chapman, to take the 30m plunge and raise £1,000 for the local branch of the charity.
Anna Mynott, the fundraiser at the Sheffield Alzheimer's Society, said: "As the population ages, it is important to raise awareness of this devastating illness and provide crucial support for people with dementia and their carers."
Last month, broadcaster John Suchet revealed that his wife, Bonnie, has pushed him to the brink after she got Alzheimer's disease, making him pull out all the stops in getting the best quality of care for her.
