Southgate Beaumont to host blooming good garden party
7th July 2009

Barchester's Southgate Beaumont care home is holding a Summer Garden Party this month to raise money for Age Concern Enfield.

Taking place from 14:30 BST on Thursday July 23rd, the afternoon event will feature live music from the Merry Mobsters Band and an appearance by ex-Eastenders actress Lindsey Coulson, who is a patron of Age Concern.

She has worked with the charity for six years, following personal experience with her late grandmother's care.

Cream teas and scones as well as hot and cold refreshments will be on offer at the Grade II-listed building in Southgate Green and its landscaped private grounds.

Admission is free and donations to Age Concern Enfield will be gratefully received.

The original estate dates back to 1610 and since conversion, now offers luxury apartments for independent living, the Walker Suite for residential care and main house for 24-hour nursing care.
