Residents of Newton House in Grantham recently came together to do a sponsored walk.
The memory walk took place to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society and was organised by Tina Buggins and Maggie Dolfin.
Staff, local residents and family members joined residents on the walk and they had certainly chosen the day for it since the weather was beautiful.
The route took participants around Grantham, where they admired a variety of gardens and other features of the surrounding area.
Afterwards, residents returned to Newton house for well-deserved tea and cream scones.
The group raised a very impressive £1034, which all participants were extremely pleased with.
Inspired by their success, another walk will take place this September, again to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society.
On this occasion the group will be joined by the Alzheimer's Society and walkers are hoping to beat the previous total raised.
