MS Society launches another MyShoes campaign

16th September 2005

The MS Society is setting up a new MyShoes campaign to help raise money to fight Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

The campaign, which involves recycling shoes, will kick off in October and has backing from numerous celebrities including, Jodie Kidd, Claudia Schiffer, Ricky Gercais, Davina McCall and Erin O'Connor.

Working with the eBay facilitator Auctioning4Good, donations consisting of three pairs of shoes or more can be collected free of charge from any home or office in the UK by calling 0207 371 6644.

Shoes will be collected and then auctioned on the site Shoes4MyShoes Shop, part of eBay.

Monies raised from the online shoe recycling store will go directly to the two leading MS charities: the MS society and the MS Trust.

MS is the most common disabling neurological condition affecting young adults – around 85,000 people in the UK have MS.
