Locals walk for charity in Banbury

Three local residents in Banbury have walked 34 miles to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

Laura Fiddes-Baron, Marc Fox and Emma Read, all employees of local lettings agent Finders Keepers, started off on Saturday (August 8th) in Chipping Campden, making their way to Winchcombe in Gloucestershire, before finally heading to Cheltenham on the Sunday. They have currently managed to raise nearly £1,500, just over the original £1,200 target they had - and the figure continues to rise daily.

According to the Banbury Guardian, Mrs Fiddes-Baron said: “We are all really excited about the walk. The charity actually raises funds for stroke victims and as my father suffered one last year I wanted to do something to help.”
