Residents of Westwood House, one of Barchester Healthcare's London-based care homes, were treated to a fun-packed, romance-themed Valentine's Day by the staff who care for them.
The activities began with a Heart throb-themed quiz where staff members played the roles of silver screen heroes and heroines including Marilyn Monroe, Greta Garbo and Kirk Douglas.
Residents had to guess the identity of the heart throb using clues provided by the staff.
The festivities continued into the evening when staff and residents alike were treated to a musical blast from the past in the form of swing singer Aiden Kent.
Mr Kent spent the evening crooning hits from Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin and even convinced some listeners to take to the dance floor.
Dorothy Dykes, administrator of Westwood House said: "The residents were really impressed and really enjoyed the day - it was great fun and bought us all together!"
