Bradshaw Manor awarded for investing in staff

Bradshaw Manor Care Home in North Wales has been awarded the Investors in People accolade.

They were awarded with the status for the outstanding staff development training offered by the care home.

Investors in People was established in 1994 to promote the development of employees. It is sponsored by the Department for Education and Skills.

Heidi Crompton, general manager at Bradshaw Manor, said: "We are really pleased to have been recognised for this award.

"Training and development has become a natural day to day occurrence at the home and recognises the hard work and dedication of all the committed staff to provide the best for our residents."

The standard that organisations must meet to receive the award provides a national framework for improving performance. It is based on a can/do/review strategy to allow for constant improvement in the delivery of services.

Mallard Court in east Yorkshire has also been awarded by Investors in People.
