Barchester Healthcare, the number one provider of high quality nursing and residential home care, is delighted to announce it is one of the fastest growing private companies in the UK.
It has been ranked in the Profit Track 100 League, published in The Sunday Times yesterday, which measures medium-sized private companies by profit growth over the last three years.
This follows Barchester’s recent rankings in the Fast Track 100 (4 December 2005) and as one of the top 100 Best Companies to Work For (2 March 2006) in which Barchester was number two in the top 20 Best Big Companies list.
Since the company began in 1993, Managing Director Mike Parsons has followed a vision to be the number one provider of high quality residential and nursing home care in the UK, offering exceptionally high standards of care, hotel-like facilities and gourmet food. Now, with 170 homes in the UK ranging from Lakeside Care Home in Jersey to Thurso, near John o’Groats in Scotland, it is evident that Mike Parson’s formula is working.
Mike Parsons, Managing Director of Barchester, said:
“We are thrilled to receive yet another endorsement for our company and its 13,000+ employees. It is especially gratifying coming so soon after our Best Company to Work For award and our ranking in the Fast Track 100 last year. It underlines the great work all at Barchester accomplish on a daily basis.”
Constantly increasing its portfolio, over the past few months, Barchester Healthcare has completed two new purpose built homes, Thistle Hill Care Centre in Knaresborough and Tandridge Heights Memorial Care Home in Surrey, as well new acquisitions such as Manor House Care Home in York, Rayner Court in West Sussex and in March Milford House in Salisbury.
