Age UK on QVC Cares Day

Age UK featured on shopping channel QVC in order to promote a range of living aids helpful to older people.

Helena Brett, head of trading, was successful in her audition to appear on the one hour slot to promote Age UK's range of Daily Living Aids and raise awareness of the work done by the charity.

According to the charity, QVC is broadcast to 22.8 million homes and targets consumers over the age of 45.

Helena, who was scheduled to appear on the channel at 11:00 (GMT) today (December 22nd), said that she is delighted to be representing the charity and it is a great opportunity to raise brand awareness and tap into a new audience.

This comes as part of the channels QVC Cares Day, which is to encourage companies such as Greenfingers, The Salvation Army, Cots for Tots, Macmillan Cancer Support, the Prince's Trust and the Cystic Fibrosis trust and more to come together to do their bit for charity.
