SWEET-TOOTHED RESIDENTS AT WYKEHAM HOUSE CARE HOME ENJOY WORLD CHOCOLATE DAY

Residents at Wykeham House in Horley revelled in all things sweet on World Chocolate Day with a range of chocolatey activities on Tuesday 7th July.

The residents and staff enjoyed chocolate throughout the day as a special treat to celebrate this sweet day. The team bought in chocolate based dishes and chocolate’s from all around the world.

Julia Christodoulides, General Manager at Wykeham House care Home, said: “Our head chef and his team love making sweet things.  All enjoyed the different tastes of the chocolate’s.  A very tasty chocolate mousse and chocolate cake finished off our day and obviously as alternative sugar free desert was made for those with dietary needs. Julia also found a chocolate wine for some of the residents to sample.  The residents loved it.
