Activities at Windmill Manor Care Home

Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Life at Windmill Manor Care Home

Virtual Royal Ascot

Big hats, racing and of course a sherry or 2. Who needs to go to the races when we can bring the races to us. A great day had by everyone and the sun shone for us too.

Community Deliveries of kindness

Windmill love to be part of the community & what better day than National Lollipop day to visit the local schools with lots of sweet treats for everyone. The children all loved the visit and the little girls enjoyed meeting Snow White too.

Glorious Weather

We enjoyed lunch in the sun! A special team member here at Windmill Manor: Cookie, with her owner Jean Manson. Cookie is an 11 year old Labrador who is loved and treasured by all living at the home.

Ascot Ladies Day

The Ladies of Windmill Manor celebrated Ascot Ladies Day in style. The best hats were worn whist chatting over a sherry.
