Activities at Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care Home
The activity team within our home spend a lot of time committing themselves to organising a range of activities for residents. This includes, pet therapy, trips out to local places of interest, visits from entertainers and musicians, bingo, one to one pamper time, weekly quizzes, coffee mornings, arts and crafts and baking. Activities are considered to be a crucial aspect of our home as residents look forward to upcoming events. As a result, it is essential that our team work together with dedication, to ensure residents are entertained and involved in as many activities as possible.

Life at Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care Home
Musical Fun with Ruth
We had a fabulous music session with Ruth Stangeway; we played instruments, had a sing along and played a few activity games - it was such a great afternoon!
Memory Lane Arts & Crafts
We had a lovely craft session on our Memory Lane unit; residents enjoyed making pompoms and doing Easter colouring, as well as having lovely chats about good memories.
Singing at Stamford
We had a fabulous return visit from the very talented Ian Malcolm. Everyone really enjoys his visits and it was lovely to see both staff and residents getting involved with the singing and dancing.
Matt Jones Returns
We had a lovely visit from Matt Jones last week. Matt came and sang some rock and roll songs to residents. He has a great voice and really entertains everyone; he hands out musical instruments so we can sing and play along to the music as well.
Our Weekly Baking Session
Once a week, we try to do some baking in our home as residents really enjoy doing it. This week, we made cherry buns and had lots of fun mixing, decorating and baking our yummy buns - and especially enjoyed tasting them with a lovely cup of tea. The was also a great opportunity to reminisce about baking in the past with our mums, which many residents did.
Time for a Cuppa
We had a lovely coffee morning to raise money for Dementia UK. The kitchen staff made some yummy cakes and scones and we had a great time chatting and listening to music, and managed to raise £42 for this charity that is very close to our hearts. Thank you for supporting us.
