Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Life at Marriott House and Lodge Care Home
A trip to the Garden Centre
Our home made cakes and pastries are second to none at Marriott House and Lodge. But sometimes is nice to mix it up and go out for afternoon tea and cakes. Our residents had such a lovely time at Hillier Garden Centre, Main Road, Chichester.
Dog Show
The Residents and Staff had a lovely time at Marriott House and Lodge Dog Show on Saturday. Our Judges were assisted by young Evie, our team leader Linzee Hancock's daughter. We were all in agreement Chichester Canines are very special indeed. Linzee and Evie then visited Small Dog Rescue Sussex Ltd with the profits made from the Show.
We so wanted it to come home.
Residents and staff at Marriott House and Lodge care home in Chichester have been cheering on their home sides throughout the Euros. The home has been decked out with flags and residents have been enjoying all the action over the past four weeks. Everyone at the home has loved seeing Gareth’s boys progress to the finals.
Armed Forces Day
Our residents enjoyed fish and chips for lunch and a afternoon high tea to celebrate armed forces day. We had a fabulous wartime singer and spent the afternoon reminiscing about wartime events. The fantastic team here at Marriott House and Lodge as usual embraced the theme of the day and dressed as Land girls and soldiers . A good day was had by all.
One of our favourite passtimes
Another favourite pastime at Marriott House and Lodge is making our own fruity Kebabs. Enjoyable to make and even more enjoyable to eat.
We loved celebrating National Fish and Chip Day
It was with great pleasure Marriott House and Lodge celebrated National Fish and Chip Day on 3rd June this year. Our kitchen team created the most amazing fish and chips lunch for our staff and residents to celebrate the day
