Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Creative Talks
Marriott House and Lodge welcomed back the lovely Penny from 'Creative Talks', with a fascinating presentation on the history on tv and radio. Our wonderful Residents enjoyed facts, pictures, music and video clips. A great afternoon was had by all and of course the mandatory afternoon tea was delicious.

This beautiful picture was taken early morning from our gardens during Marriott House and Lodges 'Professional Breakfast Meeting' just as the sun was rising, on one of our first frosty morning's. In the distance is the incredible Chichester Cathederal spire.
Anthony's Antics
An afternoon of fun, games and exercises with our fantastic regional chef Anthony. Anthony's food is delicious, however he has been known to be a tad micheivous, so we know our resident will always have fun when Anthony's around.
We also took this opportunity to judge the community pumpkin competition. Congratulations to our winners.
Think 18 - local charity - visit's our home
Marriott House and Lodge are pleased to announce that we are supporting this fabulous charity that helps young addults with learning difficulties. This charity. think18.org.uk is close to our heart as several of our residents and staff have young adult children with learning difficulties. We look forward to working together
Wonderful Wednesdays
Wednesday is one of the day's Christine our hairdressers visits and opens our hairdressing salon within Marriott House. Wash, blow dry, tea, natter and cake is how a our wonderful wednesday pan out.
