Gorseway Care Community is a care home on Hayling Island, situated on the seafront, which offers a beautiful unspoilt coastline for walks along the beach, or to just sit and watch the boats go by. Other local amenities include a golf course, a theatre and shops.
At Gorseway Care Community, we are able to provide care and support for a variety of needs, ranging from nursing and personal care to dementia care as well as other conditions related to ageing. We also have a range of independent retirement accommodation on the site available for older people, overseen by a Scheme Support Officer. For those who aren't looking for anything long-term, we also provide high quality respite care services.
Within the community Gorseway Lodge is a purpose-built, two-story nursing home offering single and double rooms with en-suite facilities, spacious lounges, well-appointed dining rooms and life-skills kitchens, with quiet areas for rest and relaxation. Gorseway delivers care to people living with dementia in a specialised Memory Lane Community - an environment specifically designed to help people with memory and orientation problems.
We are proud of our village-style community, which is set within four acres of secluded and landscaped gardens, allowing our residents to enjoy outdoor living in the summer months with cream teas, Pimms afternoons, games and activities.
