Welcome to Bradshaw Manor's website; my name is Heidi and I am the Senior General Manager here.
I qualified as an RGN in 1990 and joined Bradshaw Manor as a part time staff nurse in 1992, and over the years, I worked through promotion to be the senior general manager. During this time, I have had the opportunity to complete my Registered Managers Awards and, as I have a love of health & safety, I have been able to gain 4 NEBOSH qualifications, which have helped with the day-to-day running of the home.
I am fortunate to have spent 27 years in a lovely home beside the sea front with beautiful view of the sea. I have had the privilege of working alongside a fabulous team within the home and networking with external professionals to maintain the high standards of care we deliver to those we support.
I am very fortunate to have a supportive husband. I also have two grown up children, one of whom (my daughter) also works in the care sector for Barchester, and my son is currently about to commence University.
Elma has worked at Bradshaw since 2004, first as a senior night nurse and now as the clinical lead. Elma's caring nature ensures that residents are as comfortable as possible.
Aimee has been working as part of the admin team since September 2017. Prior to this role, Aimee was a Care Assistant here at Bradshaw Manor.
Emma has been working at Bradshaw Manor since 2015 as a care assistant and unit leader for our Memory Lane Community, and has recently changed her role to our home's Activities Coordinator.
The main focus of her role is to ensure that residents have fun and that we provide exciting and therapeutic activities for everyone to benefit from.
Emma organizes a wide variety of activities to suit everyone’s needs in her weekly programme, including monthly entertainment, outings and animal visits.
Michelle ensures that the catering department is managed to a high standard. Her team provides tasty and nutritious meals with beautiful cakes and desserts, whilst also catering for special dietary requirements.
Mark has been working at Bradshaw Manor since 2017. Mark ensures all residents and staff are feel and kept safe whilst with us at Bradshaw Manor. No job is to be or too small.
Our domestic team ensures that our home is kept clean and tidy to a high standard, ensuring that residents feel comfortable within their surroundings.
Jim has been with us at Bradshaw Manor for just over a year. Jim is very kind to all and gets on with everyone. All though quiet at times, Jim is not afraid to speak his mind and stick up for others.
Jim joins in with all the goings on at Bradshaw Manor and encourages others to do so. Jim’s favourite activity is pub visits and animal visits.
