At Bod Hyfryd we offer an exceptional level of person centred care and the highest quality of life to the lovely ladies and gentlemen who live with us. Nestling in the foot of the Clwydian Fells the home and gardens enjoy unrivalled views across the beautiful Welsh countryside.

Our fabulous team of nurses and carers provide 24-hour nursing care, together with first class care for those living with a dementia in our brand new Memory Lane Community.

Our brand new Memory Lane Community is dedicated to providing stimulation and first class care to those living with dementia, in a homely yet secure environment. With individual care plans based on the needs of our residents, we treat each one as an individual. Learning about life stories and then undertaking reminiscence work with them is as important to us as it is for the people that live with us - this valuable work helps us to connect with our residents on a personal level and enhance the overall care package that we offer to them. Essential to our homely feel is the enhanced relationship of trust we build with family and friends as well as with our residents.

Day-to-day life at Bod Hyfryd is a lovely experience with plenty of well-planned activities. The gardens are a great place to wander and relax - but also provide the ladies and gentlemen who live with us with a real sense of pride as they are very much involved in its design and planning throughout the seasons.

Dining at Bod Hyfryd is a truly enjoyable affair - our residents get to choose from a wide selection of dishes each meal time. Menus are designed not only to be nutritionally well-balanced, but also tantalising and mouth-watering.

We do hope we have the opportunity to meet you soon at Bod Hyfryd. Why not pop in when you are next passing and join us for a cup of coffee? This will give us the opportunity to discuss your own individual needs in detail and to chat about the ways in which Bod Hyfryd may be able to help. We look forward to meeting you soon.

Sarah Clegg

General Manager

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I am the General Manager here at Bod Hyfryd - welcome to our webpage!

I qualified as an RGN in 2010 after studying at the University of Plymouth and have worked in a variety of adult care settings, where I found that my passion in life is working with older people, and particularly people living with dementia. I became a Registered Manager in 2014, after previously being a Head of Care and a Deputy Manager at other care homes.

As well having experience working with the elderly, including those with dementia, I have also discovered a great passion for helping to provide an excellent standard of care through the techniques I have acquired since I first began working in this sector back in 2012.
