GROUNDBREAKING CARE DEVELOPMENT BEGINS IN WADHURST

The newly appointed General Manager of the Wadhurst care home development, Jo Bown, was joined by Councillor Tom Doyle, Chairman of the Wadhurst Parish Council and colleagues, to take a tour of the work in progress.

After the tour Tom Doyle said: "My colleagues and I were very impressed with work we saw at the Barchester site. The new care home will be an important facility for the village and a very welcome source of employment."

Jo Bown is looking forward to managing the 65-bed care home, which will provide high quality care services, as well as dedicated dementia care in Barchester’s unique Memory Lane Communities. This care facility will enhance Barchester’s already 220 strong care home portfolio and provide much needed high quality care.

Barchester’s Founder and Chief Executive, Mike Parsons said: “We are working in partnership with our long-term design and build partners, Castleoak. This new home in Wadhurst will reflect our commitment to providing high quality care environments and is the second of a pipeline of building projects with the construction company.”
