Barchester trainer wins Tallow Chandlers award

Lisa was selected from hundreds of nominations in the care sector and was chosen for her dedication to supporting staff and apprentices develop their career pathways at Barchester.

The prestigious awards, held in conjunction with the City & Guilds Medals of Excellence Awards, took place at the Tallow Chandlers’ hall in London. Each year, the Worshipful Company of Tallow Chandlers award those who have excelled in gaining teaching City & Guilds qualifications in specialist sectors including the care and community.

Paul Middleton, Vocational Quality Manager at Barchester, said: “I am so proud of Lisa’s success and this is a well deserved recognition for her exceptionally high standards and work practice.
