Nominations open for Barchester Care Award 2014
Barchester Healthcare launches its 8th Care Awards this Valentine’s Day and asks other people outside of the company to show the love and nominate Barchester staff who show how much they care about their job.
Excellence in quality care provision is what the Barchester Care Awards are all about. The Awards are a chance to recognise the individuals who make a special effort to go above and beyond their normal day-to-day duties to help residents and their families celebrate life.
This year there are 13 categories ranging from Carer/Support Worker of the Year and Registered Nurse of the Year to Hospitality Champion and Home Administration Champion.
New for 2014 is the Volunteer of the Year category, which will be awarded to someone who freely gives their time to make a positive impact on the lives of the people at a Barchester home while providing support to the team in making the home or hospital a happy place to live.
As always, Barchester are inviting nominations from family, friends, residents and staff members for the exceptional work staff do at a Barchester care home. If you would like to nominate a Barchester member of staff in any of the 13 categories from any of the homes and hospitals around the UK, please fill in the online form before the 21st March deadline, just click here.
Once the judging process is complete, the finalists of the Barchester Care Awards will be invited to a glitzy luncheon where the winners will be announced in June at the ceremony.
