Mike Parsons founded Barchester Healthcare in 1992 after discovering, from his own personal experience, just how difficult it was to find a good quality care home for two of his relatives. Deciding to create a better alternative, he bought Moreton Hill, a 17th century farm with stunning views over the Cotswolds, which he converted into a unique care home setting.
