Care Home with Nursing care
Our homes provide accommodation, meals, social and personal care and have professional registered nurses and experienced care assistants in constant attendance day and night.
Care Home with Personal care
These homes provide accommodation, meals, social and personal care, including help with bathing, dressing and medication administration.
Dementia Care Services - Memory Lane
Our Memory Lane communities provide specialist dementia care services for our residents within the UK. We never forget that our residents are individuals and that we are their new home.
Palliative care
Some Barchester homes provide compassionate care for those with a chronic or terminal illness which is no longer responding to treatment.
Close Care/Assisted Living
Close Care, often known as 'Assisted living' is where you can live independently in an apartment within the grounds of one of our care homes. Close Care is a good choice for couples who need different levels of care, or may need to move into the care home at a later date.
Convalescent/Post-Op Care
This is short term care for people recovering from illness or an operation.
Respite Care and short breaks
Many of our Barchester homes are set in beautiful countryside locations and are ideal destinations for respite breaks or a short stay whilst your permanent carer is on holiday.
Day Care for Non-residents
Some Barchester homes provide day care for residents living in the surrounding areas.
Home Care
Barchester Homecare services are available in Yorkshire, Swindon and Cheltenham. Care and services are provided through a Domiciliary Care Agency to residents living in their own homes.
Young persons services
A number of care centres across Barchester Healthcare have expertise in the provision of specialist health care for younger adults.
