World Smile Day

Residents enjoyed smiling and making delicious snacks as well as arts and crafts sessions and creative drawing sessions and sing alongs to every smile associated song possible!

Halloween at Hollyfields

Residents, staff and relatives at Hollyfields got into the spirit of things when everything went bump in the night! Ghostly carryons were happening and cackles and screams could be heard from the various attempts at Karaoke Halloween classics. Residents enjoyed a themed luncheon and helped to carve the pumpkins for table decorations. A Great day was had by all and the excitement carried on into the night.

Pink Day

Resident's, staff and visitors at Hollyfields enjoyed a day full of pinkness to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness. It was an enjoyable day and there were lots of pink treats to be had, including jellies and mousse, fresh cakes and biscuits, trifles and sweets. The staff were dressed in pink clothes and the home was decorated with lots of pink balloons and streamers, a stray red balloon also made an appearance.

Come Dine Competition

The day was a great success, with residents, staff and visitors enjoying a freshly prepared three course luncheon, chosen by our residents. The residents took part in taster sessions to help decide on the food they would like to include in the menu, they loved the reminiscence which came with it discussing tastes and smell. Vegetables and salads were sourced locally, some of which were used from our own gardens. The Day continued with afternoon tea served in the activity room. Residents and relatives attended and enjoyed freshly made cakes and biscuits, tea and coffee.
