Salvation Army Band
Edgbaston Beaumont Administrator, Lee Highton-Nicholls (Pictured right) led the annual Carol Service at the home supported by members of his Salvation Army brass band.

Christmas Fun
Karen Legon, Activity Coordinator and Lee Highton-Nicholls, Administrator entertained residents. Carols, Cardigans and comedy brought much laughter in the home as the residents, staff and relatives enjoyed tap dancing, ballroom dancing, a Christmas sing-along and even a pantomime style sketch. A great time was had by all who attended.

20 Mile Walk
We at Edgbaston Beaumont have held a 20 mile walk for Staff and Residents. We set out a circuit around the grounds of the home that measured 300 meters. We had to complete 120 laps in a relay to make 20 miles. This was achieved in a record 25 minutes by Residents, Staff and Relatives. We had a large tick chart and signed off the laps as we went. The weather was beautiful and people enjoyed it so much we actually walked an extra 10 miles! This was followed by an Open Day on Saturday the 18th June with a Jazz Quartet, Soloists, Bouncy Castle, Raffle and Tombola.

Beaumont staff celebrate 175 years service
Celebrations were in full swing as we recognised the long service of 11 members of our staff team. The 11 employees have been with the company for a total in excess of 175 years. Over the past 18 months we have awarded 4 ten year, 1 fifteen year and 6 20 year awards. Staff accompanied by their friends and relatives joined us at the Beaumont as we celebrated this great occasion. The residents of the home applauded enthusiastically as each member of the team received their award. Entertainment was enjoyed by all and got both the residents and staff on their feet dancing.
Diane Bland - General Manager
Diane's roll is to maintain an environment of care and support which both enables and encourages our residents to live as full, interesting and independent a lifestyle as possible. She enjoys the relaxed atmosphere of the home and always has an open door
Stroma Packett - Deputy Manager
