Llys Y Tywysog recognises and congratulates Christine Pitman on 20 years service at the home. Thank you Christine, we couldn't do it without you!
Leo the Travelling tiger!
Leo, the Llys-Y-Tywysog Travelling tiger has been visiting many destinations across the Wolrd as part of a new Activities project where staff and families take Leo on their holidays. Photographs so far have been taken of Leo at St. John's and Kings Colleges, Cambridge and at various Barchester homes across the UK. The idea is to bring the World back to Llys-Y-Tywysog through Leo's travels by discussion sessions and memories of past holidays experienced by our residents. A map and portfolio has been produced to show where Leo is in the World.
World Book Day
For World Book Day on 3rd March, residents and staff at Llys-Y-Tywysog dressed up as their favourite character from a book. We also hosted a 'Book Swap' event, for staff and residents to swap some of their personal favourites with each other.
