Themed Lunches
We have a lot of themed lunches at Rhiwlas, including this one celebrating Italian Food.
Coffee Mornings
Coffee Mornings have been introduced in both homes and have proven to be very successful - both homes frequently visit each other to meet other residents.
Race Night
This was so much fun - a big thank you to Dot - Beth and Julie for all their hard work. Thank you also to Cathy for the food. The residents thorough enjoyed this and have asked for a repeat later in the year.
Come Dine
Early this year we held our very own Come Dine with Me. Both the Rhiwlas and Bod Hyfryd Chef's had to make a three course meal which was scored by the residents - the scores were high, much to the delight of the very nervous chefs!
Sue Irlam - General Manager
Sue's role is to manage all daily operations within the home and ensure that residents experience exceptional service and person-centred care. The well-being and care of residents is Sue's top priority and she is happy to discuss any matters with families and residents at any time.
Justine Hughes - Deputy Manager
Justine has a wealth of experience and has sucessfully completed her NVQ Level 4in Management. She supports the General Manager in the smooth running of the home.
Janine Hughes - Catering Manager
Janine and her team ensure a wonder choice of freshly prepared food is available, with individual choices catered for.
Debbie & Jean - Administration Team
Debbie and Jean are here to welcome you into the home and is always happy to offer assistance and support. They make a lovely cup of tea!
