Welcome to the relaxed and happy lifestyle of Bradshaw Manor

We provide first-class 24-hour nursing care, alongside expert care for people with dementia in our Memory Lane Community.

Our team of highly-qualified and attentive staff really focus on the individual needs of our residents with a tailored care plan for each person.

And our dedication can be seen across the board - in our cooking, hospitality and organising activities for our residents.

Bradshaw Manor is a purpose built care home located on the main seafront, close to the town of Rhyl. The home's gardens are landscaped to provide a seaside theme in keeping with the surroundings.

We think you'll find we're ideally suited to meet your needs now and in the future.

Barchester Easter Cake Competition

A group of our ladies got together for a coffee when they knew it was nearly time to make our Easter Cake. They sat down and planned what they wanted to do. They decided that they would like to make a plain springy sponge cake (pardon the pun) and decorate it with springtime decorations. This is a photograph of the finished cake and we came 2nd place in the competition!

McMillan Biggest Coffee Morning

For this year McMillan Coffee Morning, Bradshaw Manor raised funds by selling homemade cakes, scones and bread kindly donated by the staff. We all had a fun morning with residents taking part in a food quiz and raffle with reminiscence of their favourite cakes and drinks. We raised a total of £60.

Memory Walk

We recently took part in a Memory Walk in aid of the Alzheimer's Society. It was a bright but windy day as we loaded the mini bus. The walk started at Marine Lake in Rhyl. Some of the carers went on the walk around the lake. The rest of the staff pushed the residents back along the promenade as it was very windy around the lake. We had our balloons and sang most of the way back. On returning to Bradshaw Manor we had a lovely buffet and hot drink served in the reception and The Grange lounge, this was enjoyed by all the Memory Walk participants.

Annie Poyner's 100th Birthday

We celebrated Annie Poyner's 100th Birthday on the 19th July at Bradshaw Manor. She had a party for friends and relatives and was presented with her telegram from the queen by the Mayor of Rhyl.

Come Dine at Bradshaw Manor

Residents of Bradshaw Manor decided to host our Come Dine party on 15th June during Royal Ascot Week. This way Residents could enjoy one of Europe's most famous race meetings as afternoon entertainment. Food Glorious Food was chosen as our 'lunch theme' because on Royal Ascot Week many countries come together with many food influences.
